Meet the Teachers
Skylar
I have been practicing yoga for 7 years, and I will be learning and growing in my personal practice for the next 75. I recently graduated from USU with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Yoga minor, and am using my degree to professionally train puppies in Clarkston. The class I am teaching combines two of my biggest loves: puppies and yoga. Come join in on the fun and chaos! My other hobbies include: hiking, video and board games, kayaking, biking, sun bathing, Netflix marathons, and being with my husband and dog.

She is registered with Yoga Alliance, is an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and a "Yoga Tune Up" Certified Instructor through Jill Miller, Tarzana, CA. She is currently working on her "Roll Model Method" Certification, teaching students self-care through the use of balls designed for myofascial release. This practice results in pain relief and improved performance through better overall mobility. She has raised a family of climbers and sees the benefits of yoga in climbers' active lifestyles. Cammy loves teaching to all levels from teenagers to seniors, health challenged to fit. She loves connecting with and encouraging all participants in their quests for improved health.
Makenna
Hi! I am Makenna, I am a 200RYT. I am so excited to teach and share what yoga has to offer! I have
learned that pranayama (breathing techniques) and Asanas (physical postures) practiced together make
for a healing meditative state. we can balance our mind, body, and spirit through yoga. I started to
practice yoga when I lived in Kauai, Hawaii for a couple years. I took a break after moving back to the
mainland. After a big life change, I found myself lost and not sure where to turn. I found my way back to
yoga, and it saved my life. Yoga is a time to explore the universe within yourself, and what a beautiful
journey it is. so please come join me in my class for self-discovery. I am yoga alliance certified through
Yoga assets.

“Yoga is the space that I so longingly try to create in my life, in my body, and in my mind. It is my breath, and your breath, the heartbeat of when we breathe together. It is simply a path taken in discipline that I travel while relishing each moment along the way"
